An ambitious campaign aimed at fundraising to deliver impactful entrepreneurship training in local community high schools throughout the country’s nine provinces.
The Ubuntu Business 9 Peaks Challenge
Through the 9 Peaks Challenge we aim to summit the highest mountain ranges in South Africa, to raise funds for entrepreneurship development.
The 9 Peaks Challenge brings together entrepreneurs, corporates, sponsors, and communities to embark on an adventurous entrepreneurship development expedition across South Africa’s diverse landscapes. Participants will conquer the highest peaks around the country, to raise funds for entrepreneurship development interventions in rural community high schools in each province.
Project Objectives
Fundraising
Through strategic partnerships and individual contributions, we aim to raise over R 4 500 000 for the delivery of our entrepreneurship support programmes and initiatives.
Training
We aim to provide aspiring youth entrepreneurs with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to transform their ideas into new business ventures.
Tourism
By showcasing South Africa’s breathtaking natural beauty during the challenge, we also aim to promote tourism in the country and create awareness of its unique offerings.
