Terms and Conditions for The 9 Peaks Entrepreneurship Challenge Prize Draw
Introduction
– Welcome to the 9 Peaks Entrepreneurship Challenge (“Raffle”). The Raffle is organized by Ubuntu Business (“Organizer”). By entering the (“Raffle”), participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Eligibility
– Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
– Employees of the (“Organizer’) and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
– The Raffle is open to South Africa residents only.
Entry Period
– The (“Raffle”) begins on 01 December 2023 and ends on midnight 31 November 2024 (“Entry Period”).
How to Enter
– To enter the (“Raffle”), participants must purchase one or more entry tickets.
– Each entry will be assigned a unique (“Raffle”) number.
Prizes
– The (“Raffle”) prizes include sponsored items from campaign partners and sponsors. The nature and quantity of prizes will be determined by the campaign organizers and may be subject to change without notice.
– The prize list will grow during the life of the competition.
– Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Winner Selection
– Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received.
– The drawing will take place November 2024.
– The drawing will be conducted within 14 days after the campaign concludes.
Winner Notification
– Winners will be notified via email and phone within 14 days of the drawing.
– If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 72 hours, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
Verification
– Winners may be required to provide proof of identification, residency, and compliance with campaign guidelines to claim their prize. Failure to provide requested information within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification.
Publicity
– By entering the (“Raffle”), participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry content for promotional and marketing purposes related to the 9 Peaks Entrepreneurship Challenge and associated activities, without compensation.
General Conditions
– The (“Organizer”) reserves the right to cancel or amend the Raffle and these terms and conditions without notice.
– The (“Organizer”) is not responsible for entries not received due to technical issues or any other reason.
Liability
– By entering the (“Raffle”), participants release the (“Organizer”) from any liability for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of participation in the (“Raffle”) or with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize.
Privacy
– Personal information collected from participants will be used by the (“Organizer”) for the purpose of administering the (“Raffle”) and for other purposes as specified in the (“Organizer”) privacy policy.
Governing Law
– These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from the (“Raffle”) will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in South Africa.
– By entering the (“Raffle”), you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
